Delivery Conditions

The heat treatment condition — also called “delivery condition” — determines the mechanical properties and forming behavior of the finished tube. Specify the required condition with your order.

Cold finished, hard +C No heat treatment after the last cold forming pass. Lower uniform strain and elongation at rupture.
Cold-finished, soft +LC Final heat treatment followed by a cold finishing pass with a slight reduction of cross section. Suitable for cold forming such as bending and expanding.
Cold finished and stress-relieved +SR Last cold forming pass followed by heat treatment. Reduced lattice stresses allow easier shaping or machining.
Soft annealed +A Tubes annealed in inert gas atmosphere after last cold forming pass. Reduced hardness and excellent forming properties.
Normalized +N Tubes normalized in a controlled atmosphere after the last cold forming pass.
Quenched and tempered +QT Increases strength, toughness, and wear resistance. Applied to materials with elevated carbon content. Quenching provides high hardness; tempering achieves required toughness.

Our seamless cold drawn precision steel tubes are produced to GB/T 3639 (China), EN 10305-1 and EN 10305-2 (Europe), ASTM A106, A519, A179/A192 (USA), DIN 2391 (Germany), JIS G3445 and JIS G4051 (Japan), and GOST 8734 and GOST 12132 (Russia/CIS). Other standards including BS, NF, and customer-specific specifications are available on request.

We supply seamless cold drawn precision steel tubes with outside diameter from 8 mm to 273 mm (1/8″ to 12″ imperial), wall thickness from 0.8 mm to 32 mm (including Schedule S, SCH, XS, and XXS), and length from 0.1 m to 24 m. Cut-to-length service is available with tight tolerances such as ±5 mm or tighter upon agreement.

We offer 30+ grades: Chinese GB grades (10#, 20#, 35#, 45#, Q355B, 25Mn), alloy steels (30CrMo, 35CrMo, 42CrMo, 20Cr, 40Cr), specialty ND steel (09CrCuSb for acid dew-point corrosion resistance), European grades (E215–E355, ST37–ST52, 16MnCr5, 20MnCr5, 25/34/42CrMo4), ASTM grades (A106 Gr.A/B/C, 1010–1045, 4130, 4140), and JIS grades (STKM11A–STKM20A). HEVO Steel is a direct source factory in Tianjin, China. We own our cold drawing equipment, heat treatment furnaces, and quality control laboratory. We do not trade or resell third-party products. All tubes are manufactured in our own facility, enabling full material traceability, consistent quality, and mill-direct pricing. Factory audit visits and video tours are welcome before placing an order.

Standard documentation includes: EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill test certificate (chemical composition, tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, hardness, heat number), dimensional inspection reportpacking listcommercial invoice, and certificate of origin. On request: EN 10204 Type 3.2 (third-party witnessed), hydrostatic test reports, NDT (ultrasonic/eddy current) reports, and PED 2014/68/EU declarations.

ND steel (09CrCuSb) is a Chinese low-alloy steel specifically designed for resistance to acid dew-point corrosion — the sulphuric and sulphurous acid condensation that forms on surfaces below the dew point in flue gas systems. It is widely used in economisers, air preheaters, heat exchangers, and exhaust gas treatment systems in power plants and industrial boilers. Compared to ordinary carbon steel, ND steel offers 8–10× better corrosion resistance in low-temperature sulphuric acid environments.
