    Honed tubes and SRB (skived and roller burnished) tubes are primarily used as cylinder barrels in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. They are also widely used in construction machinery, injection machines, robotic arms, and other precision mechanical equipment where smooth internal surfaces and high dimensional accuracy are essential.

    We offer honed tubes and cylinder barrels in a variety of high-quality steel grades, including ST52, CK45, 4140, 42CrMo4, and stainless steel, compliant with international standards such as DIN 2391, EN 10305, and ASTM A519. This ensures excellent strength, durability, and compatibility for global applications.

    Both honed and SRB tubes are designed for smooth bore finishes, but the processes differ. Honed tubes are finished with abrasive honing for a plateau surface, while SRB tubes undergo skiving and roller burnishing for an even finer surface finish. Both achieve low surface roughness (Ra ≤0.4 μm) and tight tolerances, suitable for high-performance hydraulic cylinders.
